Description
The scope of work is the construction of one (1) new 132/11kV Substation which shall provide power supply to the Jumeirah Village Development. Jumeirah Village is a residential community located north of Emirates Road and west of Al Barsha Road, bisected by Al Khail Road into triangular and circular portions called Jumeirah Village Triangle and Jumeriah Village Circle.
The Contract includes the complete design, construction of the building, supplying and erecting equipment, testing, commissioning, and handover (including the remedying of all defects) of the 132/11kV Substation to DEWA for their operation.
As per the project specifications, the scope of work included the construction of all foundations, structures, and buildings, together with the erection and installation of all equipment, auxiliaries and accessories, putting the plant into operational service, and making adjustments required to ensure entirely satisfactory operation under all specified conditions, performing all specified tests and instructing and training Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Operating and Maintenance Personnel.
